Does your business offer your products abroad as well? If yes, please register your company under the foreign trademark, atleast for those countries where you are supplying your goods. Applying for foreign trademark registration is neither very easy nor a too difficult task. However you need to go to the local counsel of the respective countries. Through these counsels you can directly come in contact with the trademark offices. Their networking with the foreign associates (who are aware of the local jurisdiction laws) can quickly get your registration done.
Logo defines and demarcates a brand and its products. Without a logo, a brand is incomplete. Hence, it is primarily important that a logo should be registered as a trademark for any and every company in the market. Logo registration is basically to own a brand..thus making it a copyright product. If any other individual wants to use the same, he would be required to undergo a process of formalities. Logo registration is somewhat similar to brand registration as a brand is incomplete without a logo.
International Standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS), commonly known as ISO 9001:2008, contributes much to your brand to acquire a certain level of consumer satisfaction. ISO Registration is applicable to any category of product or organisation. There are certain benefits related to this registration as for example: ISO Certification matters to customers, suppliers and dealers; the operating cost automatically reduces; legal accreditation is made possible through ISO and of course risk management. There are three easy steps for ISO registration. Firstly, fill up the QMS questionnaire; since ISO is under NQA (National Quality Assurance), the company should be able to elaborate and justify their quality standards; annual surveillance in the form of audits is conducted every three years.
SSI Registration or The Supplemental Security Income program is generally involved with a federal government. This program is for the poorer part of the society especially for those above 65 years of age or may be disabled, blind, deaf or dumb and require a proper financial support.
Applying for SSI is easy. You need to call up the SSI office of the respective state. Fix your appointment with them. Fill up an application form and submit several important documents like the Social Security Number or Card, your Birth Certificate, Payslip, Citizenship Card, ID and Address Proof etc. Remember, you need to present the original documents and not photocopies of the same. As soon as you fulfil the criteria to apply, go for SSI registration. The SSA is not entitled to reimburse your payments before the actual date of your SSI application. In order to handle the whole SSI procedure, the SSA has certain mandates to fulfil. It should help you complete your SSI form, to verify if the correct documents are submitted and to pay for the medical tests incase you are devoid of proper financial assistance (applicable for blind and disabled people).
