It is very common to find that there is no effect of increasing pressure on your throttle and your engine is unable to produce more RPMs for the applied pressure. Generally it is because of a plugged converter. There are chances that one may hear some kind of annoying rattle from exhaust and that too from the converter section of your car. It is because of the internal substrates that may be falling down inside your catalytic converter.

Sometimes the vehicle can start making huge air rushing noise from the exhaust section of the vehicle located on top of your converter. It is because of a plugged converter and lead to excessive pressure leaking from the exhaust system of your car. It is common to find lower mileage due to a problematic diesel particulate filter, which in turn may lead to lower performance from your vehicle.
