You can go as large as 11 by 17 inches if you think that will suit your business best. Remember though that the bigger the material is the greater the cost. You need to have additional budget if you want to go for oversized brochures.

Make it sturdy and durable: Use high quality paper to ensure your brochure won’t crumple or tear off easily. If you want a thick brochure you can opt for a 100-pound gloss text but if you want a light brochure, consider a 100-pound gloss paper stock. You can also use recycled paper but make sure it is think and sturdy to guarantee its quality.

Make the design captivating: Create a design that will help you catch people’s attention easily. Use colors, images, and style that are perfect for the image and impression that you want to convey to people. If you are not the creative type of person, you can ask the help of a graphic designer to help you with your design.

Double check before printing: Make sure to check everything before final printing. Review the colors, positioning, layout, and texts. Ensure that there are no typos or errors on the template. Ask for a proof from the printer to see what the final printout will look like. If you can ask a friend to check the proof for you, all the better.

Order in bulk: Large orders will cost less than short orders. A lot of print shops today offer discounts in bulk printing. If you need a lot of copies of your brochure, it will be best if you order it in bulk. This will help you cut down the cost per piece.
