Have you ever wondered why Coca-Cola is red and Starbucks is green? Do the colors they use have significance on their business? Well, belief it or not, these colors greatly affect their business. These companies choose the colors they use today because they truly understand their business. They know how to promote their brand and create a positive image through the proper use of color. Aside from making the products and marketing materials attractive, these colors help stimulate emotions and communicate the right message. If you want to achieve better response and gain more loyal patrons, better consider the colors you use in your business today.

To help you choose the perfect color to use on your materials, you can ask the help of designers or online printers. But if you want to step ahead, here is a list of the common colors and their meanings:

Red is the symbol of energy. It is used to evoke aggressiveness and attention from readers. If you properly use red on your materials, you can easily stir up a passionate response. However, if used excessively and inappropriately, it can mean negative things such as danger.

Green represents freshness and health. It is often associated with money and wealth.

Blue connotes security and dependability. It is the color of the sea and sky so it often associated with serenity. This is often the color of choice of financial institutions to represent stability and trust.

Purple is often used by the creative type of people. It represents sophistication and mystery.

Yellow is use to convey warmth and optimism. It is often used to inspire creative energy. When designing displays, this color is often used as it easily catches the eye.

Orange is the color of fun and strength. It represents cheerfulness and exuberance. Restaurants and salons often use this color to convey a lively and exciting image.

Brown is the color of simplicity and stability. It represents earth so it often used in trucking businesses.

Black is for power. It presents drama and elegance. It is often used in expensive products to signify quality and sophistication.

White is the opposite of black. It is used to represent simplicity and cleanliness. Health companies and products are the ones who often use this color.

Pink is for youthfulness and enthusiasm. If your products are for women, this color will be perfect for you.

Each color when used in products or marketing materials will connote a different meaning. Lighter, darker, or warmer shades of each color will convey another meaning. If in doubt, don’t hesitate to ask for help from the exporters. If you have a trusted printing place, you can ask them for ideas on the best colors to use. You can also ask help from your designer or research on the Internet. You will surely find a lot of ideas from the online market.

Remember that each business and each product has to evoke the right emotions from people in order to encourage them to patronize your business. Make sure that you plan well so you get the perfect colors to use. It can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating at first to choose the colors, but if you know your goal and the image you want to convey to people, the choice will be an easy job.
