For advertising, traffic is highly important. So in order to have the maximum traffic an advertiser can have, why not advertise at a platform where there are millions of people daily: trains and train stations. Train advertising provides an important opportunity for businesses to have all their efforts and the effects to support the products and the services contained by and in the exterior of the train. Trains are also usually positioned near malls which will bring the advertisement near the point of purchase thus giving the advertisement a greater call to action.

Train advertisements are also no longer limited to simple posters and banners. There are a lot of digital media available out there that can be used for advertising. Advertisers can put LED screens and augmented reality technology on the walls of train stations or they could even put LED screens on train tunnels which the passengers will be able to see through their window whenever they pass the tunnel. Combining outdoor Digital Media with train advertising will allow marketers to provide consumers a unique and great experience.
